Construction Investment in the Nizhny Novgorod Region

NN House Building Company CJSC (SU-155 member company) has operated in the Nizhny Novgorod region for a long time, and the company recently completed several major projects: construction of the housing complexes Bely Gorod and Pechyorskaya Gryada, the development of the residential area on Rodionov Street and the construction of housing in the Shchitkovy residential area in the city of Kstovo.

In 2008, the NN Building Construction Company completed the housing complex Pechyorskaya Gryada, with an overall area of 48,000 square meters. The total investment in the project was 3.2 billion rubles. The final phase of the residential area was opened in 2012. Construction of infrastructure, consisting of athletic facilities and a car park with an overall area of greater than 44,000 square meters was planned for the residential area in 2013; 500 million rubles have been dedicated to these projects.

Construction of the Bely Gorod housing complex began in 2009 on General Stemenko Street – eight single section, eighteen storey apartment buildings. The overall housing area is 80,000 square meters. Investment in construction is over 1.1 billion rubles.

Development of the residential area Rodionov Street started in 2010. Construction was spread out over 3.3 hectares, with over 2 billion rubles invested. The overall area of the five buildings is 60,000 square meters. The comprehensive plan for the development of the residential area calls for the building of three kindergartens (space for 120 children each), a new school for 900 pupils and an underground parking with space for 443 vehicles.

Also, three ten storey apartment buildings were completed between 2008 and 2012 in the Shchitkovy residential area in Kstovo, Nizhniy Novgorod region.

Plans for a new housing complex in the Novinka village district of the Nizhny Novgorod region are being developed in 2013; they include a residential area where, in addition to high-rise apartment buildings with a planned area of 350 square meters, kindergartens, schools and car parks will be built. 

Construction was completed of three ten-storey apartment houses in the Shchitkovy residential area in Kstovo between 2008 and 2012. Construction of two 11-storey buildings began in the same area in July 2014.

Work began on planning a new housing complex in the Novinki village area in Nizhny Novgorod district in 2013; it includes a residential area, along with which kindergartens, schools and parking areas will be built, together with 350,000 square meters of high rise housing. The residential area in Novinki is one of various innovative mini-city projects for which necessary infrastructure is planned.

Construction began in the Bely Gorod residential area on two buildings in the end of 2013 and a third, final one in the beginning of March 2014. Along with housing, the residential area project calls for the construction of a school for 465 students, two kindergartens for 240 children, and children’s villages and playgrounds.

Permission was received at the end of March 2014 for construction of a new, modern housing complex – Pervomaysky – in the Kanavinsky area in Nizhny Novgorod. It is planned to build 119,400 square meters of economy housing in the new residential area. The complex is intended to house about 4,000 people. Total investment will be no less than 4 billion rubles. Preparatory work is currently ongoing at the building site.

At the same time, the Nizhny Novgorod housing council has approved the project for the construction of the second stage of the residential area on Rodionov Street. The planned area is 150,000 square meters. In addition to a school for 900 students and two kindergartens for 240 and 120 children, it is planned to build open car parks to accommodate 5800 vehicles and a sports and entertainment centre. Construction will begin in the second half of 2014. Total investment will be 5 billion rubles.

Industrial Investment in the Nizhny Novgorod Region

The NN House Building Company has been modernizing their steel reinforced concrete production plant in Kstovo since 2010. An assembly line for the production of finished wall panels was opened in 2011. Investment in the line was over 35 million rubles.

The reinforced steel concrete manufacturing equipment was fully replaced in 2012 at the plant in Kstovo, and an additional two production lines were opened. This enabled an increase in manufactured steel reinforced concrete for housing construction to 130,000 square meters annually.

The second stage in the modernization of the manufacturing capacity of the plant commenced in 2013. Under the plan, the NN House Building Company is committed to increasing the production capacity of the company to 170,000 cubic meters yearly, which translates into 150,000 square meters of housing. Investment in the second stage of modernization of the steel reinforced concrete plant in Kstovo is over 1 billion rubles. Furthermore, equipment for the construction of new production lines at the plant in Kstovo was purchased in the same year. It will be possible to produce and assemble up to 100 steel reinforced concrete panels daily after the equipment is installed in Kstovo.
